You will always be able to mod a Camaro. The markets for those cars are huge. The v6 isn't THAT moddable, since it's a DOHC and already pushing over 300hp.

Now this isn't going to be a straight up trade, so can you afford it? Insurance will be higher, payments, mod bug, probably worse MPGs, etc.

Only you can make that decision, but my advise is to not jump into a ride that you can't afford to drive & EnJoy.
It's sad when a member/person buys a car & does not have
the funds to drive `it, repair `it, mod `it, etc. and keep `it.

Ownership can be very expensive 4-Sure....& when someone gets over their head with bills, it's very stressful..

Good Luck in your decision, and let us know what you decide...`Space

Quoted for the truth. Can you swing it? If you can, do it, there's really no question.

the ss only comes in v8 but the camaro itself does come in v6. what else would you have to be trading for this? where does the vette come into play?

Why would you only get basic insurance for a Camaro?
