No. He is going to have about 30 more HP than you do and if it is a stick will spank you.

I would say no also. Your car stock is 200hp. His car is 225hp, and a lot lighter than the Monte.

If he knows how to drive a muscle car properly, he shouldtake you no problem. If you get lucky and he's one of those guys who just punches it and spins the tires off the line, and takesforeverfor his tires to hook upto the pavement, you might have a chance.

Since I livedclose to a high school, I used to get challenged by inexperienced guys driving mom and dad's 5.0 'stang. These idiots were dangerous because they didn't know how to properly harness all that power. Very often they came close to hitting parked cars and fellow students. But that was years ago with a previous car of mine, when I was young and dumb.

If your just up for a friendly challenge, head to a track and go for it. Most people wouldn't expect you to beat a 5.0 stang in the first place. So if you lose, no biggie. But if you win, it would be an upset. You could definitely have fun with this. But do it safely... off the streets.

I liked the kids that got the Mustang or Camero and think it's a good idea to put hard rubber on it good for like 80,000 miles and think they will stick.

True, true. Even though the odds are against you, I think it would still be fun...(just don't put any money on it!!)
