Shift Boot Question.

Shift Boot Question.
Anyone here know if the 98-03 Grand Prix and my Monte share the same shift boot???
I really want to get a wheel skins shift boot to match my red steering wheel, instead of painting the shifter ****, but they only make specific automatic shift boots... the Grand Prix being one of them and not the Monte Carlo
And there's no way I'm trying to make a universal fit on an automatic.

Here's another option:
I just called my leather guy, Joe Pavich of JPMCoachworks and asked if he would be interested in doing some CUSTOM leather work for us, leather, embroidery, whatever. Shifter boots, headrests, etc. He's not real busy right now. He does have a Solstice in the shop with another right behind it, both for full leather interiors. The Solstice/Sky is his #1 car to customize, with Miata steering wheels being a hot item for him now, also. And of course the Honda guys, 370Z's, etc, etc.
ANYWAYS! He's going to join our forum Monday, and post a few pics of his products and introduce himself. His #1 competitor in the shifter boot market is located in POLAND! Joe is outside of Atlanta, GA.
So look for Joe to join the MCF family next week, and throw your ideas at him. He's one of THE best there is.

I'll see what he can do. My only hope is that it can be worked with a core or something similar because I'd rather not take it apart twice. Which is why the wheelskin was such a bonus product for me.
