SEVERE<-(possibly) engine stalling issue
#11
Yes, start the car, take the vac hose off the brake booster and slowly pour the seafoam in. Once the car stalls, that's usually when I stop (took 3/4 of a can for me). Good luck!

The stalling could be related to the code you posted - about an EGR issue. Try unplugging the EGR when it stalls and try to restart. I've also had MAF sensors cause stalling when it warms up. Try unplugging the MAF when it stalls, and try to restart.
Now the battery draining issue, that could be a lot. Maybe a failing alternator, maybe a light is staying on that you're unaware of.

UPDATE
Cant find keys so im getting another set from the dealrship within the next couple days. This update retains to the battery drain.
I have found that my car is drawing .47ma when shut off, doors closed. Now, I have also found that if I unplug the LEFT I/P 242 60A fuse under the hood, it goes away and draws nothing. Also with my radio fuse plugged in it is drawing almost a whole amp. Now I dont think the radio should be drawing an amp. Anyone have any information they can give me on these two things? The 242 60A fuse circuit and the fact my radio draws an amp? Could it be a bad radio?

.47ma I know for a fact is not acceptable. It will die within 3-4 days of not being started at that ma draw rate. This site isn't helping very much at all. I'm tempted to just bring it to jack williams so they can put it on a machine that gives live data and charts. They say its better than an OBD2 reader and they can pin point whats wrong.

I had your exact same problem with the radio using power. I took it to GM and $50 later they had no clue. I tried new radio and new amp but nothing.
If I unplugged the fuse for the radio the car would start fine the next day. If I didn't, I'd have to jump start it.
Eventually I just purchased an aftermarket radio and a factory amp bypass and that stopped my issues with current draw.
If you find out what the actual issue is, I'd really like to know!

your problem could be cranks sensor related. locte crank sensor. when your car dies out, immediately pour water on the sensor, and if car refires right away, replace it. the sensor, not the car. you could also have an ignition problem, ie, a module getting hot and cutting out, but i would supect the sensor first. as far as the battery draw. disconnect your stereo for a few days and see if that is the cause, otherwise, you may need to get it in to a garage, and have them check the draw for you.
