I've had it happen abruptly but I turn the car off and back on and it clears.

I used to get this message when driving every now and then. The traction controls system would seem like it wanted to turn on, I'd hear some grinding, then it would stop and the Service Traction System light would pop on. Once you get that you lose ABS and TCS.

Usually it's a bad sensor, and most common place for that sensor is the wheel hub assembly. If you take your car to a service center, they can probably pin-point the hub that's throwing the code, and then you can go and replace that yourself, or just have them do it. Not the cheapest but should fix it and give you ABS and TCS back.

Default Hub Assembly was changed

Hey I had tht and I had the hub assembly changed and it still came on. The damn light is still on in my car so Im trying to figure out how to get it fixed too because the grinding gets annoying. Any suggestions? the mechanic told me to get the speed sensor fixed i got it fixed and nothin changed so idk any more.

The wheel bearing is part of the wheel hub assembly, once one part in that assembly fails, the whole thing sets off I believe. That's why you lost your TCS and ABS.

Like I was mentioning it's probably something to do with those damn hubs.
