Sell or Keep
I brought a monte carlo ss in october for 1800.The car had 133k miles now it has 136k.The car is good but some silly things make it bad i have wasted atleast 300 dollars on work on the car and it needs a tune up and new wheels which im getting next month if i keep it.the car needs some paint on the bumpers front and rear im going to do that myself. Its a fully loaded ss with aftermarket flowmaster exuast and clifford alarm and aftermarket radio.I just wanted to know if i should keep the car i love it but when i go to a place im scared im going to be strainted a few times.so what should i do keep the car or sell it?i just want to know how many miles does it have left?
x2 on the above post.
wheels or tires? if its the rims whats wrong with the current ones? and a tune up is expected with a higher mileage car, but those engines will last forever!

and both i have stocks on.And the guy i brought the car told me he just got a tune up done a few days before.
Unless he can prove a tune up, or you can visually inspect and find to be true i wouldn't necessarily believe a seller. He might have told you that to sell the car faster.
Do a complete tune up.
Miles are just about right, fix everything and it may make it to 200k.
If it were me, and i could afford to fix the little things, and tune i would keep it.

Since its the SS, you have the 3.8 Thats a great engine. Lost of room for horsepower and very reliable. There is a post in the ENGINE AND TRANS section that can give you a great heads up on what you have.
ok i will and right now 136k
its not a 3.8 its a 3.4
