Interior from a 2000 Monte Carlo Pace Car, not easy to find at all!!!

I still need the red shift ****, 2 tone steering wheel (if not I will get a wheelskin), and the 2 tone drivers side door panel (got stuff from a pull a part place and someone bought and took the whole door with the panel the day before) grrrrrr, if not I will get a plain black panel and paint the red myself. Anyway, it is a great start, now need tons of various black trim and pieces like rear deck, carpet, console, dash, etc..... since my entire interior is tan. If anyone else has tan interior, when I get all this black interior stuff I will be selling my tan leather headrests with the SLP GM SS iron on ultra suede logos on them and would even take off my rear back oem leather seat cover that also has the SS logos on them. Both look like new. I believe you can see pics of them in my album here. I was going to 2 tone my tan interior to be black and tan but I have always loved this pace car interior and would go so well with the exterior of my Monte. I will be giving up heated seats with airbags and car will be hotter in summer but it will be so worth it! Probably be fall/winter project if I am lucky enough to find everything I need by then.

 

How much did you pay for all that?

 

Do you atleast have the airbag in the new seats? Thays a nice find indeed

 

No, but I may end up just switching the cover and cutting out where the air bag is, not sure yet.

Oh. I was about to say idk about you but the airbag light mivht annoy you. I kno it did for me when I had a faulty connection

 

I am soooooooooo jealous, I would love to have that interior in my car. I am on the hunt for a new drivers side seat as the heated seat shorted out a couple months ago, causing a small burn in the leather, but any that I have found for sale around my area have been ridiculously over priced, considering I can buy a whole car in running condition for what they are asking for just the seats, which is what I am now considering doing.

It will look very nice in your car with the exterior done up the way you have it

Nice find. It is hard in general to find nice leather seats but to find the pace cars is super real. Can't wait to see how it looks in your ride.

 

Thanks! I have no idea when the switch will happen, depends on how fast I find all the other pieces to make the complete switchover all at once.
