I left my school today to go and get lunch, only to find my car had been hit by someone. Damage isn't bad, but enough to get me angry enough to rip someones face off. Not sure when it happened, but today is the first time I noticed it. No note or anything, just some nice scratches and dents.

 

Does your school have security cameras? I know my highschool had some good cameras and people have used them for this very reason.

 

Unfortunately not. I can't even be sure this happened in the school lot. It was pouring this morning and the last thing I was thinking about was just looking over the car. Who knows, it may have happened at Best Buy yesterday, but I wasn't paying attention. All I know is that I want to rip off the face of whoever did it.

I don't know. The rust on the lip in the fender well would indicate it's been like that for more than just a day or two.

Sorry to hear about the damage though. I think we've all had some damage done to our car at some point. Maybe not as bad as yours.

I recently noticed a small chunk of the horizontal black rubber side moulding on my Monte's passenger side is missing. Ticked me right off. I would be livid if I found damage like yours on my car. So I don't blame you for wanting to choke someone.

 

That's what I though too, but I never noticed it before today. That's why I am confused about the whole thing. Whatever the case, it's not going through insurance and my parents are paying to get it repaired.

 

It's possible the paint on the rusty part was already loose or chipped. Maybe from a stone kicked up by the tire.

And you're right. Thank you for bringing that up. I just checked an older picture and sure enough, there is a slight bit of rust. I guess the accident just chipped the paint off a bit more exposing it more. Now I know that it happened today, because I do not remember seeing it yesterday.
