Default Road noise...wheel bearings, axle, or just tires?

So I have been having some weird road noise. I tried to believe it was the tires but now I'm thinking it could be the wheel bearing or even the cv axle. It doesnt drive weird or make any difference of sound when turning.
Should I just change the axles and the wheel bearings? Or should I take it to the dealer and have them at least tell me what it is?

It's in 05 LS.

Should have it looked at before you start changing parts.
What kind of noise hum/thump?
What speeds?Does it change pitch when turning?

its like a roaring, rotary noise. i hear it each time the wheel does a full 360. it starts around 20mph and becomes faint around 45 - 50 mph... also when i roll the window down i hear the tires.... maybe they are low on air - i havnt really checked anything yet.
i guess imma start with lugs, tire pressue, rocks in tires, make sure the tires are defective. i dont think ill be changing anything myself as i get a great discount at the dealership...

Wheel Hubs usually get louder as you go faster.

Thanks for the information. I havn't been able to get it into the dealership yet. however I did check the tire pressure and it was a little low.. 35psi or so. I put the recommended 44 in and now the noise is quieter... Well it seems like it anyways.
I can't hear it until i get up to about 20-25 mph. After I pass 45-50 mph it becomes faint.
I don't know if this theory is correct but I believe it is in the passanger tire. I hear it when the tire makes a full 360. Correct me if I'm wrong - i dont think it could be the wheel bearing/hub as the noise isnt FAST - hard to explain...

The recommended is 32 psi.

I wonder if you have flat-spotted the middle of the tire running over-inflated like that.

The hub is a very annoying sound, you would definitely know it.

oh. my max load rating says 44 psi.
Maybe I will just purcahse 2 hubs from ebay (70 dollars for both and free shipping) and put them on. Blah I don't know. It's starting to get cold here in NE Ohio - I don't want to deal with it!!!!!!! Lol

But I just put 44 psi in them this morning. They are 80% tread on them, no low spots. I may take it to my uncle this weekend that has a tire shop.

I would never inflare a tire to the max... I usually go 5 psi lower than what my tire says, i have low profiles... I had to buy my mom a gauge bc she just puts air in until it "looks" ok lol. She wonders why it always pulls to the left :p
