Rick's Factory Fog Light Installed / Pics
Here's what they look like installed in a 04 Monte LS that came without them.
Do you need shots of from behind the bumper with the framework that holds them in place?

I'll take a series of Photos when I wire them.
Hi `Rick,Fog's look Great : ) Your Monte Carlo is really `Unique withthe Vinyl Top. [:-]It's the only one that's I've seen on the MCF, or on the streets. Wish you fun/safe/miles.

It's just a matter of time, now. The Fog Lights take a unique connector that supplies power to the Bulbs. I got the part number from the Dealer and ordered a pair from Chevy Parts Direct. Saved a bunch of money by not having to order them from the Dealer. I actually got both for the price of one from the Parts Window. That was good. We wait for another box to arrive in the mail. again. Worth the wait, though.
I had thought that this job was going be be a Plug-in affair. No so. The Wiring Harness does not have the Pigtails, but the Relay Block and Fuse Panel have places for Fog Light related Relay and Fuse. I might be missing something; I don't know.
I'm hard wiring these lights off the system to keep the BCM happy. It's just going to be easier that way. Plus, I'm in no big rush now that the acquisition of the Lights and Mounting Hardware is over. Just another Monte Project to wrap-up when the good weather returns to New England.

Taz, we must have been replying at the exact same moment? My computer did some freeze up kind of thing and my response is nowhere to be seen?
Rick the lights look good!!!
PS. Please put a spoiler on that car of yours. They look nekked without one. Even the surfboard style = better then nuttin' in my book.

Rick, it turned out great - I love fog lights, that's one of my pet peeves when it comes to cars - they gotta have fogs!
I gotta do one thing at a time. But I do agree that this Monte of mine needs a Spoiler. I have a guy doing a regional boneyard search; but as of right now ... there's no Spoiler to be had that isn't a little to high for my budget.
I've asked the three women in my life (wife; 2 daughter's) to present me with one for my Birthday Present. I'll be hitting the Big-Six-Oh in June. I'm pretty sure, from the way they cooperated with my acquiring the Lights ... that a Spoiler will adorn the back of the Deck Lid before the end of Summer.
This is what happens when you buy a used car. You get it the way the PO bought it and cared for it.
I got a Spoiler on my Wish List; for sure.
Which one is "Cooler"?
The Surfboard one ... or, the Pace Car one?
I heard from GM Direct. My Fog Light Connectors are on the truck. I'm going to try and get them hooked-up "The RickCoMatic Way" sometime after FedEx drops off the package!

Personally I like the race inspired spoiler. But with the custom top on your car the surfboard may be better?
Just my $0.02 worth here. The surfboard would be less likely to "Hide" the custom top if that makes sense.
You can buy very similar spoilers on ebay that will work. They run like $75 and up. A member of 2k Monte Carlo bought one and installed it on his nekked Monte. It looked good.

Rick, the vinyl top doesn't really lend itself to the "racing" look. It gives your car more of a classy look. I think the surf-board style spoiler would look much better on your car. Plus they should be more readily available considering all the Monte owners that claim they replaced it with the racing style spoiler.
