Totally easy to take out the headlight assemblies. They are held in place by 2 white clips.

x2, i pried one out with a screw driver, i think theyre pretty hard to break haha

lol those white plastic clips are the ones i am worried about

haha, well dont push it out!, grab onto the top lip and pull it up till it hits the stopping point. the pull out. its really easy, and just reverse to install. really hard to actually make one break..lol
