Small new update aside from the DrColorChip...

I may try to mod this to fit the Monte. it may be hard because of the airbag and buttons, but I think it's possible.

That's about it for now, still have some small stuff to install and a potential cluster mod in the makes.

Got some work in on prepping the highsport:

Before:

After:

Also, got my fuel door replaced, got the new one sanded, sealed with Gemplers and plasti-dipped to give it a clean and complete look:

Before: (the old one was rusted and starting to push through the other side):

During: (cleaned and sealed the areas that were down to the steel behind the door also):

Sanded down the fuel door:

Plasti-dipped:

Reinstalled:

I really like the back of the fuel door being black for some reason

Looks great! Nice job on the fuel door. I thought you didn't have to sand before plasti-dip?

Here's where I'm at lol

Sent the grille and plate filler off for paint, I'm off to Mexico this week, so I'll have more updates coming soon (Grille, plate filler, exhaust, starting to look for more interior parts).

The exhaust will consist of: 2.5" downpipe into magnaflow high-flo cat, 14" resonator, electric cutout, 2.5" pipe all the way back, all stainless into the stock y-pipe for now, it would probably cost another $300 or so to do y-pipe and mufflers for now.

I'd like to find black door panels, a new center council and black pieces, all other black plastics and the carpet. Does anyone know where I can get a new pre-molded carpet? I'm leaving the seats for last lol

I hope to get my new engine and trans mounts also.

I want to add my ZZP STB but it won't fit because of the alternator, does anyone know of any bolt extenders that I could use to raise the thing like 1/2"?

That's all for now, I need to get started on the highsport kit some more, I have the bondo stuff, just need to put some work into it.

There's a lot more that I need to do lol

UPDATES!!!! - in order of what happened..

Got my grille and plate filler back from Mike:

Got my springs - went with Vogtland springs, going to go with KYB struts - possibly adjustables. Springs are getting re-powdercoated the same color.

Pressed my poly dogbone bushings in and starting to get them sanded and ready for paint.

Also, got my 15 feet of stainless exhaust pipe. 304 stainless and 16 gauge.

Exhaust is getting done on next Tuesday

Thanks man, I actually got the stainless pipe, 15 feet of 304 and 16 gauge for $170, cheapest possible around here. I thought I did good haha

EDIT:

I forgot, here's the exhaust as it is now, going to be louder when I'm done

Do you have the shorter dog bones on your car? Maybe with those it would rock the alternator forward enough to fit? Just a thought.

I'm just worried because I was planning on ordering a ZZP STB soon and don't want to run into the same problem.. haha.
