ugh.. im starting to get really nervous now... With all these problems that have been mentioned... im scared to send it to the dealer now.... well I hope it starts when I get to work! if not, its a $66 Tow trip to the dealer and then who knows what else!

i wouldnt take it to the dealer unless its under warranty, and i think i remember hearing you say it wasnt, i would take it to a reputable repair shop somewhere near you for diagnostics at a cheaper price, to see if they can find whats wrong and maybe you can fix it yourself

who knows, maybe it just needed a rest for the relearn or for everything to settle back in and maybe it will start right up

THIS IS WHAT I DID FOR MINE, I had that problem and GM says to place in park, shut off the ignition and get out of car, locking it as to depart then unlock and get in, insert key, turn to ACC and turn the lights on and off three times then turn ignition off and on to start the engine . WORKED GREAT AND SAVED ME A TON OF MONEY !!

Turn lights to the FULL ON FULL OFF or like Full off to parking?

IT HAPPENED TO ME LIKE THE 3 WEEKS AFTER I HAD MY CAR CALLED MY DEALERSHIP AND THEY TOLD ME I WAS GOING TO HAVE TO PAY TO TOW IT THERE ($100) AND IT WAS GOING TO HAVE TO BE HOOKED UP TO THERE COMPUTER ($79) AND THEN WHAT EVER IT WAS GOING TO TAKE TO FIX IT$$$$$ ... I TOLD THAT GUY HE WAS CRAZY AND THERE HAD TO BE A WAY TO GET IT GOING NOW !! HE SAID NO THAT WAS THE ONLY WAY (JACK A$$) SO I DID A GOGGLE SEARCH ON MY WORK COMPUTER AND GOT CHEVY'S MAIN PHONE # CALLED IN TOLD THEM WHAT HAD HAPPENED TO THAT POINT AND THEY SHOT ME TO TECK SUPPORT AND I WENT OUT TO MY CAR ON MY CELL AND IN 5 MIN AND 0.00 $'S IT WAS FIXED !! NOW ON POSTING IT I HAD JUST GOT ON THE FORUM I DID SUBMIT IT UNDER THE HOW TO SECTION Th GEN AND I DIDN'T KNOW IF IT EVER GOT POSTED I WAS SUCH A NUBE AT THAT POINT LOL

I had that same problem on a pontiac transport and it was the main ign fuse under the hood when you open the door does it chim?

Sorry I haven't been able to get back to you guys, I have been at work... and Hardprix2000, that is EXACTLY what the tow truck guy said! And no my door does not chime! Is that an expensive fix?
