Default Random questions about my new (to me) 03 Monte

Afternoon folks,
I was wondering what the normal expected miles per tank should be on my "new to me" 2003 Monte LS? Also, is there a particular gas that I should be running? We always used the Silver gas way back when I had my 85 Monte so not sure. Dude I bought it from said he was using regular gas.
Thanks in advance,
Evie

Miles per tank depends on driving style and location (city vs. highway) But all things considered, 275-325 miles per tank should be expected and regular 87 gas is fine for a 3.4

I do not use ethanol fuel. so I pay more at the pump, but I commute about 40 miles (round trip) per day. 5 days by 40 miles on under half a tank 200 miles for half a tank, is pretty darn good. I also gave it a couple doses of Barryman B12 cleaner before the intake gasket replacement was done just to help clean everything out

yes when I drive "normal" it is easy on fuel ....... when I get on it the fuel and air are consumed in mass quantities LOL
when on the pedal it goes up, so yeah city stop and go mileage is variable but worse than a 20 minute highway speed (most of the way) with potential for 3 stop lights.
objects in motion tend to stay in motion

stop and go ...uses the fuel, especially if you get on it on green light only to hit next red

Yep, I get consistant 22mpg every week, mostly country drive, but I don't spare the horses on the brief highway cruise!! About 4 miles of 65+mph, usually +!!!
