I'd have to pick the L78 69 Chevelle. I like the tail light design on the 69 and the grill better than the 68. The condition of the 68 was by far nicer, but the 69 as a survivor is more original - it only had one repaint in the mid 70s.

 

Nice cars. I don't think I've seen many Chevelle's I didn't like.

 

I need a change of pants.

 

Thanks guys! My fiance just fixed his 92 Z28 this weekend (replaced fuel injectors). Next project is to change the gears in the Chevelle so it's more streetable. It's gonna be a Chevrolet kind of summer!!!!!!!!

 

LOL !!! That sounds like a movie Amy ! . Did you ever post pic's of that Chevelle ???? I just put in 3:43 gears in my Chevelle last fall. Love"em.

 

What gears were in it and what's going in now?

 

I think he wants a 3.73. He thought there was a 4.10 in it but he thinks it's higher.

 

yeah. I thought about 3:73 also. But I do a lot of freeway driving. And that's just to much gear for that. I'm very happy with the 3:42. Gas milage is better then the 3:73 also. Now if I just was driving around town!!!! It would be the 3:73's for sure.
