Default Radio

I got a new radio today, kinda crappy pic, but im suprised it hooked right up and bolted right in no problems whatsoever. Even the steering wheel controls. Work

Now that I have it, im kind of inspired to try a few other things from the same car... it came from an 01 GTP

Thoughts?

So why did you switch to another OEM unit? Better performance? It looks pretty futurisitc for being a OEM part. I give you a thumbs up!! Now pay attention to not bankrupt yourself with more mods....LOL it's easy to do...

Nah, I wanted a new radio and to be able to use the steering wheel controls again, and a friend of mine needed a new radio.
I sold him my old aftermarket blaupunkt new orleans for $50 and picked this one up for $20.

I know gm likes to make things like THAT fit, but the gauge cluster is a differant connector type. Im thinking about switching the HVAC controls and steering wheel controls for the ones from that car if they plug right in.

Now you gotta make sure that the rest of your lights are all red to match.
