Im sure this is probably a no....but..would a factory deck out of an 06 work in a 2003? I want that aux ipod hookup! I seen one of these radios at my local junkyard in good condition and it got me thinking. Im sure there not interchangeable though but was curious?

 

No reason it shouldn't operate in your Monte. Just is there room in the dash for it?

 

Factory plug are diff and the wiring it self is in different locations. Lets say the power for the 06 could match to the left speaker of your current car.

 

It probaly will not program with the computor.

All you have to do is give these people a call. Let them know what you want to do. Ask them IF and WHAT ... they put you on hold and get the information. Then they come back on the line and tell you what the deal is and that's all she wrote.

I called them told them that I wanted to install Factory Fog Lights and they assured me that the Monte was wired to accept them and if I need assistance to call back.
They always want to mmake sure you are happy driving a Chevy.
Which I am at the moment.
Going to be happier next week, too ... right after I get my Fog Lights in and actually see them babies light up and work!
