Secondly, the main reason I picked up the hypertech unit was to adjust RPM, Speed Limiter, and shift points so in reallity, let's say a third of the cost of the programmer goes to increased HP so add $100 to the annual cost. $13.47 per added pony. You still can't beat the price per HP compaired to other mods.
The bottom line is, if your on a budget and can't afford to play, use reg and don't get a chip/programmer. I found the gains to be well worth the dollars spent...
