and my 89blazer i didnt care about thing was just a beater...was running extreemly rich anyways so i just dumped it in.. others were properly tuned to accept E85

with the cars that are flex fuel. they are programed different injectors to handel the e85 and have different knock sensors so it wont mess up the motor.basicly most of the sensors are compatible to read both types of fuel and the comp compinsates for the difference between the two types of gas. mine is a flex fuel i get better gas milege with e 85. can go to new orleans from tampa fl and drive around on the same tank then refill a couple of times on the way back

Well what about a N/A car with an updated PCM 1.0 such as mine. The company I bought it from says to run premium gas to get better performance gains. Is this true?

sin i'd say if they recomend it i'd do it becuase it's probably tuned for it

yes definitely run premium then!

I had been running regular gas with my new PCM and it seemed ok but since everyone said RUN PREMIUM I filled her up with a full tank of premium and wow. I think she was choking before now and I can tell the difference. I would say with the new PCM's to FOR SURE run premium gas it DOES make a difference.

So If the highest octane rating I can really get around here is 90, once i get a supercharger will I need to run octane booster??

don't they say premium fuel on the S/C, but octane rating of 91 or better?

That what I was thinking, but couldnt I run 90 instead of 91?? Whats the difference?
