Default Post Your Winter Upgrades

Just thought it would be a good thread if people could all share their mods for the winter or just 2012 in general.
I'm doing my brakes all around C5 Z06, Baer Decelarators, Goodridge stainless lines, havent chosen the pads yet. Helo HE845 18x8 wheels coming next week, didn't buy the tires yet still looking for the best price. I'm getting the Michelin Pilot Super Sports so if you know about tires you know why I'm looking for the best price lol. A B&M Racing trans cooler with mounted fan. The trunk lid is coming off to go get a Joker with 4 Aces airbrushed onto it, it's a busy winter with parts already pilling up. Once winters done I plan on getting the head liner done just need a quote first and I'm going to get my water methonal kit hooked up finally in the spring I always forget about that. I'm building a motor over the next year and hoping to have it in for 2013 summer.

What do you all have for plans this year for your cars for 2012 ?????

Winter mods? Does washing all the dirt and debris off the car count?

Nothing planned for Winter, but come Spring for aesthetic purposes I'll be painting my calipers/rotors and putting some decals on the calipers. I also hope to have my engine cover done by then. Depending on how things go between now and then mechanically I hope to purchase/install an HT Motorsports Stage 3 coil over/strut package along with upgraded sway bars and poly bushings. I also hope to replace my engine and tranny mounts with poly units.

Very nice, I've got 02 Camaro calipers on my monte I'd suggest EBC Redstuff or yellow stuff pads the latter is better but creates more dust I've got the Redstuff on mine, all ima do this winter is my trunk liner & a few lil things

@03JGMonte how dusty are your redstuff pads? I've got the SS trunk liner lid, it really cleans up the trunk well worth the money

@03SSLE the suspension is something I'm looking at for over the summer, I've got the BMR front and rear strut tower braces and I'm looking at the rest of the parts they have to offer. The only struts I found are the KYB APX I think there called I'll have to look at the HT's your talking about

There not too bad first 1000 miles of break in there pretty dusty but they clear up after that the yellow ones will turn your rims black but you'll stop really good

Yeah see thats cheap to me where I live the price will be much much higher believe me when I tell you that hahahaha. My only option will probably be purchasing on-line and as usual getting stuck with shipping fees, oh well the cost of getting quality parts I guess
