nice pics of 2 very clean, sharp lookin MCs!! i am partial to yours too though the first pic of the two of them together totally reminds me of a big brother/little brother kind of pic, haha. maybe it's more of a father/son thing though!!

for the record - i love the rain guards. mine were on the car when i bought it. they definitely help the inside of the car breathe and be able to get some fresh air when it's raining out (like now, and tomorrow, and apparently for the rest of my life).

i really like the silver on the white. its very clean. if he ever wants to know about things to do with the car like lowering, tuning, easy install parts. let me know, and i can help and provide the best prices i have found for you guys.

but i gotta say the black plastic pieces in the silver ruin it completely. its not as noticeable on the black cars, like rickakateds. it annoyed me enough that i sanded all the rough and sealed it, primed it, and painted it. in my opinion much better and cleaner look. one thing i highly recomend doing

Thanks, but he actually doesn't want to do anything with his car. I don't know why, but he wants to keep it stock. He won't even put a CAI into it. All he wants to do is keep it clean. Maybe one day I'll break him down, as he sees how my car is coming along. He's happy with my results. (My mom actually hates my car now, she thinks it's too loud, she misses her old black baby)

I do agree with you, I never even thought of doing that. He's been wanting to actually get the silver done RED, he wants a white with red accented car, but I don't think my mom is too happy with those ideas, so he'll probably have to wait, but if he does decide to go red, I'll let him know about that idea.

Yeah, I don't know about that red idea either. I don't think it would look right. I mean, maybe it would be OK. IDK. I personally think if the silver was white it would be better. That's just me though. Still an extremely nice set of cars.

They ordered the car with the silver ground effects.

Like my black car, that car was custom ordered, not picked off a lot.

they both look great! i never noticed the silver beltline w/ the red picstripe, that looks sick!
( in a good way)!

i was gonna tell my dad he should do that on his black 5th gen SS ( with the factory body kit thingy) untill i noticed not one peice of the lower SS panels was without a crack....

did yours come from the factory with the silver beltline? it looks like a 4th gen SS that ran around here for a while

Like the 2nd week we had the car, we took it to a body shop and had that painted on. It was stock a fully black car. We had some paint guy do the striping with genuine GM paint, and it really looked nice and I never saw another car like that (until they started making the different color bottoms factory options)

All in all in only cost $250 to have it done, and with the original GM paint I was surprised and loved it.
