pics of my new mods
hi all. here's a few pics of my new mods. i finally got my exhaust done. it's a dual magnaflow setup with 2.5" stainless steel angle cut tips. i got a great deal on the mufflers on ebay. i'm pretty happy with the sound, not too loud at low rpms, but really barks when i open it up. i still have the stock resonator in which i might change in the future with a resonator delete or a magnaflow resonator.
my next mod was a front STB bar. it's a pretty common mod but i made my own don rome-like brackets so i didn't have to drill into the car out of 1/4" steel plate. since i have access to a vertical band saw and drill press at work, they were pretty easy to make. then i finished them off with a couple coats of black spray bomb. i'm in the process of making the rear brackets for the rear STB bar so i will get pics up once they are done. in the end i saved $85 and got the satisfaction of fabricating something myself

michael, yeah i notice a difference with the STB bar. i notice it the most at high speed cornering such as on-ramps, or those curvy country roads. i'm hoping it will tighten up even more when i put the rear one on also. i picked both up from monsterparts.com for around $33 shipped, not a bad deal imo.
teacher, i wish i could get some clips for everyone to hear. i don't have a video camera and my digital camera is kinda outdated and doesn't capture sound on the video but at least it takes decent pics so i can share them with everyone.

I'm confused... How did you find STB bars for the Monte Carlo on a motor cycle site?
