Pictures I took today at the Lower Huron Metroparks 10th Annual Car Show and Swap Meet. This show started yesterday and runs through tomorrow. I did not participate in this show with the Monte but decided to head over to take a look at what was there. Pretty good amount of cars and the swap meet was pretty large. I collect license plates so I looked through that and came across a few goodies (pics of a few finds at the bottom of post 2).

 

So, I was very surprised when I came across this LS4 for sale, $800. Guy said it's out of a 2008 Impala SS. I got his contact information just in case anyone is interested in it.







I collect license plates and picked up these two Michigan plates at the show today. Both still have their original paint and are in pretty good condition, the 44 is actually in scary good condition. The 44 is a Montcalm County (MA) issued plate and the 36 is an Allegan County (A) issued plate. The 36 is now the oldest plate in my collection. Cost me $15 for the 1944 and $20 for the 1936.

Thanks guys! Yeah there had to of been about five or six Montes there, majority being first gens, which is pretty good. Surprised me because when we used to take my Dad's 72 to shows we were usually always the only first gen, let alone Monte Carlo, at almost every show we went to.
