Just waits till she can lol,my sisters eclipse got backed over at about 30mph back tire was on the hood,air bag didnt ever go off,and she was sitting still

 

The safest place in a car is the back seat. They used to call the passenger front seat the suicide seat. I think you should respect her parents wishes. The air bags are also an issue. I don't like them to the point that I unhooked them in my van.
