I bought an owner's manual for my '07 from eBay, and have had huge problems with the seller.

The manuals they sent me came in a canvas bag with no logo. Since my '93 Camaro, my GM manuals have always come in black vinyl with the division logo embossed.

Have I been scammed, or is this thing correct?

 

You probably need to re-check the listing and see if it is described the same as what you received.
If not contact ebay and ask for a refund on the item. The manual that comes in the glove box is usually a generic looking thing and might not have a cover.
Another thing to do is go to a U-pull it yard and check the glove box of a Monte in there and you might find a nice one also.

Not a new owner here too. Manual was flapping in the breeze with the cover torn off.

But I did get all the other collateral - the Monte Carlo features foldout with a CD, tire warranty etc.
