overdue oil change
 
Hey I jus noticed today I'm like 1000 miles overdue for my oil change I normally keep up with that pretty good just been busy lately but is going over 1000 miles that bad?

Hi Charles,
I don't think going over 1K miles is going to hurt your Monte (unless it's driven like a Taxi Cab with constant stop & go driving habits, or you're pulling a trailer) :eek::confused::)...

Today's oil is pretty good & if you have been maintaining your Monte you shouldn't have any problems.

What type of oil are you using ? Filter ?

Oh, how many miles on your Monte ?

My monte is a 2003 SS with 124,000 miles I only had bout a year I've been pretty good on maintenance since I've owned it it doesn't seem to be running any different just was curious I think I'm goin in morning to get oil change I go to Goodyear get synthetic blend oil I think valvoline idk what kind filter they use
