Default Other Sources of Monte Information

Hi again all, let me know if this is a taboo topic (i'm not trying to promote any "other" Monte Carlo enthusiast forums here...), but do you know of any other suggested websites, 'cyclopedia, books, magazines subscriptions, napkins you wrote-on or outhouse-walls scribbled on I can find/see/read/copy/print/paste and/or steal re: Monte Carlo in general?

Also looking for a good source for PLASTIC MODEL kits I can get associated with everything classic Monte Carlo and/or Chevy muscle car related?

All suggestions much appreciated!

A lot of us are also regulars on different Facebook sites with plenty of enthusiasts. As for plastic model s it the same senerio. Monte Carlo nation is one of the biggest sites I can think of off hand and I'm part of RPM Model Club which is all about plastics.

Well, I like to look thru car brochures, and have collected some myself. There's a source online that has a good variety of scanned car brochures:

The Old Car Manual Project Brochure Collection

^ That's just the Chevrolet section; they have a bunch of other makes too. I don't know if they have all of the old Monte Carlo brochures there, but last I checked they do have the ones for 1975, 1976, and 1977.

I would love to have a plastic model of my '07 SS, but all the models I've found are NASCAR models...

Jeffs02rwdSSm,

Could you please send me a link to any shop where you got that SILVER Monte Carlo model kit please...... i spent literally an hour yesterday trying to find anything close to looking like a '76 Landau, and had very little luck. Found a few shady looking websites, but nothing I actually want to order anything from.

here is a link to ebay looks like there maybe something here.

https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fro...arlo+&_sacat=0

and another link
https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw...rlo+ss&_sop=12

https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fro...E+CARLO+1%2F24
you may be a ble to find something in here. The 06/07 would need to have the modification done to the front of the 2000 to 2005 Car might be able to convert the front from the Nascar models to make it work.
