I've had mine for almost 8 months and have driven it less than 3,000 miles. I fixed my 92 cavalier right after buying the monte and since the Monte gets quite a bit less mpg's than my cavalier does, the Monte sits. I drive over 60 miles a day going to work and back and the Monte is only getting 23mpg on the highway vs 30-32mpg for the cavalier. The Monte also just had a full tuneup on it

I'm actually thinking of selling it since I don't drive it much and I'm making payments on it. Its a nice car but I'm all about the gas mileage right now.

What year and what engine is in your Monte? My Monte, which I would consider fairly modified gets over 25mpg on the highway and over 17mpg in the city while beating the crap out of it. There might be something wrong with your Monte.
