Alright so yesterday i was leaving to go to my parents in the morning when i noticed a huge puddle under my crown vic. (winter rat).
It was oil, my oil pan rusted out and it has a huge hole in it.
Well i didnt have time to get it fixed this weekend, SO
I broke out the monte. i had no choice,
GOOD news is that the weather looks amazing! 50s-60s the next 2 weeks!
So weather is on my side, still some salt on the roads so needless to say ill be spending a lot of time and $$ at the car wash!!
Anyways Ive missed my monte and had a lot of fun driving it!
Too much fun,
on my way to work, i didnt pay attention to oh, my speed
but the cop who passed me did!
So my very first day back in the monte, i got pulled over!
70 in a 55.
oops

 

Bummer...maybe you need to make use of the cruise control option. I've been fortunate not to get a citation since '81 and it was for 100+ in a 55.

I drive my monte everyday which is nice,but not ny roads in the winter And hey atleast it wasnt 97 in a 55 like my friend just got in his buick:P haha

No ticket! Dads a cop so I kinda got luck with not getting tickets

 

Thats why i always have a radar detector lol

 

Great luck in not getting a ticket..only one I've ever gotten was in my monte for 103 in a 65..wanted to get around like 4 cars because they were going slow, so I just floored it and then saw a car coming, so continued to go faster..turns out that car coming was a state trooper..he wasn't impressed lol

 

ah, no harm done then

can't detect the laser til it's already done! lol
