Default oil results

ok so earlier last month i posted a topic on what oil you guys used and most of you went with mobile 1, while me and i believe like 1 other went with royale purple. well, this oil change i decided to go with mobile one instead of my usual royal purple and this was my result...

going from royal purple to mobile 1 i actually did notice a slight decrease in my montes performance. im not bashing anyone with mobile 1 or anything so please no offense to anyone, im just giving information to anyone who wants to get the best out there monte. with mobile 1 i noticed a loss in acceleration and the car didnt seem to react as quick as usual, but heres the weird part, it actually improved my gas mileage, not by much at all, but i noticed it the first week. once again this info is just to help all you guys out there, i recommend try royal purple for just 1 oil change and let me know. i use a k&n oil filter when i use royal purple. when i tried mobile 1 i used a fram "toughguard" oil filter. nonetheless, nothing major and i belive both are great oil products. hope this helped anyone!

I chose M1 over RP based on cost.

IMO, if your running syn over dino your adding many more years to your engines life. My problem is that I hardly ever keep a car long enough to enjoy the long term rewards of using syn....

royal purple is cheaper than mobil 1, and if your paying more money for royal purple down there than mobil 1 your getting ripped off

Cool, did RP come down in cost from two - three years ago? I'll double check prices around here again..

What is RP running $$ in your area?

i sell it about 7.49 a quart and thats canadian, and mobil 1 i can't even buy for that price...and i'm pretty sure the suppliers can get it cheaper in the states...cuz i know what they pay down there and its about $1 less a quart than i pay
