Default oil change...

So today I changed the oil in the monte after coming out of storage....and I checked the miles on the oil since last time i changed it, well the last time i changed it was may of 09 and then it was put into storage in september. well I checked and there was a whopping total of 510 miles on that oil and 60 of that was just driving it to and from storage haha! I just thought it was funny and I should share

I can't say a whole lot, sadly that's the way I treat the Z28. Would like to drive it more but to be honest the headlights suck and it's a t-top that's 15 model years old and the trim isn't as fresh as it once was and tends to leak in the rain. I keep telling myself I need to take it out more, it actually hurts a car more to sit like that then to drive it.

Can't you just buy new weather stripping for the T-tops? And you guys have insurance right? I understand what you're saying though. If something happened to Burnsy I'd be pretty POed.

Hmmmm - sounds familiar. I probably only put about 500 miles on Precious last year. I have not gotten him out of storage yet and when I do I'm going to change the oil and brake fluid and any other fluids that needs changing LOL!!!

... yeah I can get the weatherstripping, but right now that just gives me a reason when people ask why I don't drive it much :p, besides it's not much of a wet weather car with or without T-tops... gets kind of butt happy if you know what I mean. Insurance and taxes are the big bite on it. If I actually sat down and figured out how much I'm paying State Farm and the SC government to let me park it in a shed I'd probably cry. The Z28 is far from Burns' condition it's just something that I have a blast driving when I do, I know that I'd probably get next to nothing for it if I tried to sell it so there it sits in the shed staring at me wanting to go and stretch his legs. ...OK that's it this weekend I'm taking the Z28 for a ride!

You folks and your two cars. Must be a nice problem to have lol.

As for me, my other ride can't really be driven until may 1st when the ATV trails open up. I've had it out once since last fall, and that was to recharge the battery and change the fluids. It may be a '97 Wolverine, but it's mine and I love it.
