Here's a Monte from the past. It belongs to member "02on20s". It was originally an all silver car. Custom painted silver and blue.

Ahah, silver cars have a sanctioned corral!

Here are some shots of Sugaree, sometimes also known as Loose Lucy.

Here's the car at Thomassin's Used Cars in Salinas CA. Had test drove, liked it, put down a deposit.

First day home, it needed a long bath.

Scenery Shot - Colton Hall, California's first capitol building

Scenery Shot - Monterey Bay in background.

Scenery Shot - Calling all UFOs.

Scenery Shot - San Luis dam.

I've had two other silver cars -
77 Ranchero GT named 'Gator'

79 280ZX - half silver named 'Rust Never Sleeps'

It's not quite Honolulu blue, but I get what you mean.

Barovelli, I hope you don't mind. But I cleaned up the picture of your Ranchero a little. Tried to clean up the color fading a bit.

It's a print from a 110 instamatic, circa 1980. Wish I had some more of that car, it was a serious case of steel lust. Friends & I were emulating real moonshine runners, we drove Elcos and retired cop cars & the like. In the picture is me washing off the shaving cream & white shoe polish the day after getting married.

Found a negative scan of the ZX & replaced it.
