What year is that monte. I want one. I like the Camaro too. My buddy bought a 91 or 92 because he worked at the dealership and then he got laid off and had to sell it. It looked just like that

i broke the stock one off at the plate that mounts to the hinge.i pulled one out of a grand prix at the junkyard, had to chop it up to make it fit, so i chopped it shorter and made a sleeve and pressed the shift **** on, it's about 4" tall when it's in 1st

it's wayyy to big of a pain in the *** to do if you don't absolutely need to, and i don't have the measurements anymore, i wrote them on a piece of cardboard

and to do it with the monte linkage would be a totally different process, and it would look way better than mine, if i switch back to a monte linkage i'll re-do it and do a write up, i had to notch out the center console and make a rubber slide boot, bypass the shiftlock, and chop the bar and fiberglass rod to match the height of the shift **** after the **** and tube were pressed on.... ya it wasn't something i'd like to do again, but i may after i get the car painted and start to turn it into eye candy since i'm all but done with making it faster, just haven't decided if the car is worth painting at 18x,xxx miles even thought there isn't ANY rust, i'm looking at satin black for the body, and satin blood red for the body kit, mirrors, spoiler, and roof rails if i can get my hands on a set
