Its a common thing with older cars I think. Back when I had my 86 Iroc Z almost every time I drove it if I stopped somewhere someone would ask how much I wanted for it. One day I even found a note under the wiper asking me to text this number night or day and let him know how much i wanted for it. Seemed ridiculous though. When I finally did go to sell it I had it for sale for over a year until someone finally traded me an 2004 Monte Carlo LS with 76k for it. even a couple hours ago a guy asked me how much I'd take for my truck I said not for sale and he kept trying to convince me to sell it. I knew he wasn't too serious since he was driving a 93 cutlass that was falling apart.

The license plate suggestion is good I never even thought of anyone wanting to restore it. d I've had people from all walks of life ask and I doubt they all think of restoring. The guy the other day probably would. Right now I am rather attached to it because it is my only car. I like having 2 cars but last year my other car quit working. So now I have to wait a couple more months to get a second car. You know....I live half hour from St. Louis. When I have to go into the city, it's a bit scary since people are really persistant there and I don't want to get car jacked or anything. Well, I guess I could just drive off and hope not to get shot at.

Disconnect the battery while your down there! I had a friend in Detroit. That when he went downtown. He took his streeting wheel with him. But it was his only Ride also.

It happens to me all the time with my '76 Landau. Even now when its not in the best condition I still get people asking me if I want to sell it.
