Hey people its me again with another basic question. my 03 monte carlo ss (3.8L) runs at about the middle or a tiny bit more of the temp gauge on the dash before the fans kick on and bring it down a little. thats about 180 degrees for my gauge. i was wondering is this normal temp for my car or is this too hot? i just fixed a coolant leak today so maybe im being paranoid about it but i figured id ask.

 

normal operating temp for the 3800 is about 185 to 195. i believe the fans kick on at 200, not a 100% sure, if anyone else wants to correct me if i'm wrong.
