I like the 350Z, too small on the inside for too, but I like it. The growl of its 6cyl is really nice...in fact I wish the 3.8 Monte could sound as nice! HOWEVER...I will never own a RICER!!!!!

I find that the imports like that are already tuned and tweaked from the factory to squeeze out as much juice as possible from the tiny mills, while the American vehicles have a lot of untapped potential. If you do as much tweaking to American muscle as is done to the imports, ricers wouldn't stand a chance.

IMO i dont think that the 350z can be considered a ricer because it is actually a nice car not just a civic with a fart cannon. i say go for the 350z.

Well lets not forget you are all talking about "concept" cars. The Camaro isn't being built, as of yet anyways. The 350Z is here and now.
Yes its being built. Its confirmed along with the Challenger

We'll see...I'll believe it when I see it...and who knows by then the 350Z may have countered. I do know a 350Z with a Stillen supercharger has almost 500 hp so I don't think a Camaro is going to "whoop" on it.

I'm not sure how tall the l67 is compared to a 350. I helped a buddy install one in a Chevette (and by installed I mean I helped him move the cherry picker with the engine over the car) and it was a ton of fun. The lid closed with no problem so it was a complete sleeper but the engine was too far foward - he was hoping to avoid cutting the firewall and messing around with the headers. Talk about tires smoking!!! It was like a dog trying to hookup on a hardwood floor when you show him his favorite treat!

Then he messed with it and mounted the engine and transmission too far back. Nothing like seeing the underside of a Chevette from the side. The front wheels lifted easily a foot off the ground... and that's clearance under them... with suspention the bumper was even higher. Totally sweet, but very scary.

He finished balancing it and found a nice sweet spot with the carb 1/2 under where the winshield meets the firewall. Man that was quick!!
