OK so it's not a Monte Carlo SS but over the weekend my mom finanlly got the Impala I had been hunting for her. As some of you may recall almost 2 months ago I asked for opinions of the 06 Monte Carlo and Impala from owners because my mom wanted to trade her 02 TrailBlazer. Well by time we finally tried to pull the trigger on the 06 LT that she wanted it was sold, so after months of searching local lots and the web I finally came across this car:




It's a 2008 SS with 32,xxx miles. Blue Book on it was nearly 20,000. Paid 16,000 and recieved 7,500 for her TB. It's a lot more car then she really wanted but I/we couldn't pass up the deal. Only options it seems to be missing is the 6 disc Bose stereo and the sunroof. Has the light grey interior, doesn't anyone want the graphite leather anymore??? Only found a few Impalas with it. Since she got it over the weekend I haven't had a chance to "play" with it too much except to find out that it has very little trouble getting up to the speed limit .

Brian, that is a nice Impala! I'm sure your going to like driving it once in a while and feeling all that V8 power!

nice impala way better then a trail blaser they have engines from china and tranys from japan they fall apart if you ride on them a little bit

 

Why did they redesign the Impala?! *sigh* I love the older ones, those tail lights were NOTICEABLE , you could be able to spot an impala blocks ahead by its taillights, oh well. I'm sure she's/you're gonna love it :P lol
