Default New Rims, What Color?

Hey everyone. I'm picking up some wheels from a guy around my area tomorrow and I'm trying to decide if I should leave them the way they are OR paint them black So what's everyone's suggestion?

I already ordered the lug nuts and I'll post a picture of them too.

What do ya'll think? Help Me out (I'm leaning towards black )

Leave em be, what's the point of buying nice rims if you are going to paint them so they look like a hubcap??

I'm not sayin I'm just sayin. Either way thank goodness your getting new rims. I have no clue who designed or picked those rims out that year. I feel either way you will be happy with your new rims. Nice. Could you just paint the outer edge black to go along with your lug nuts?

Well they do have a few flaws, little curb rash. They were on a Grand Prix. Painting them black was my idea to make them look good again. I guess once I get them tomorrow I'll have a better idea. Just wanted a clean new look of some sort

Leave 'em be. And this is coming from a guy with black rims. Unless your going for more of a NASCAR look, I wouldn't paint them. That's not to say black rims aren't great. To me black rims just look a little more "raw"

comming from a guy that has black wheels myself. they are hard to keep clean and looking good.. but im not much of a silver rim guy.. they look like a sporty stock wheel specially if they are just 16s. which i assume they are. heres my oppinion. if your going to paint them black. do it the right way. go to a rim repair shop. have them fix them up then powder coat them. if your just gonna plasti dip them or spray paint them... leave em be!

Trust me I love black rims, and I LOVE that color Monte (when I was in the market for an SS I wanted that color), but that said I just don't think black rims would mix well with your color I say leave em as is they look good.
