New pics of my newest Monte
I added some pics of my newest 1980 Monte. I got the car Dec. 2011. So far Ive beefed up the suspention. Added a sun roof. Cleaned the gold off the Cragars. Retinted windows. Gutted interior.
Im currently working on redoing the interior. Will be adding pics of inside as I progress. Already installed new headliner. I also just bought the complete interior out of a 87 Monte SS. Dont plan to use the SS dash or cluster tho. Mines good enough.
Near future plans will be be adding a 350 v8 with headers and duel exhaust. I got a 86 z28 I been think bout taking the engine and tranny out of for the Monte. Not sure how hard it would be to make it a manual 5speed tho. Might just use one of my TH350s.

sounds like a good plan!i had a 78 monte years ago and sure do miss it.Will try to find pic and post it,it was all original except motor.Father and son that sold it to me put a 350sb in it.Im old school for Life
