That '72 is my favorite. I guess I'm just a fan of the 70-73 range for chevys. My dad's '71 Camaro RS/SS is one of my favorites, along with the El Caminos, Chevelles, and Montes of that time frame.

And, G-B, that '71 Camaro sound awesome! Have any pics?
I don't actually, although it isn't really much to look at yet. It still has the original paint/stripes and vinyl roof, which means that there isn't really that much left. The interior has been redone but we need to replace the speakers again, dad always blows those out pretty quick, I guess the 90 watt speakers he put in the rear aren't that much louder than the classic 350. We were going to get it repainted with all the body work last fall for about $8k, but we bought the Monte that summer so he decided to wait another year. The guy at the body shop said he was surprised with how little rust was in the body, which comes from the fact that being in Nevada, there isn't all that much water to help the rust develop. I will be sure to get pictures whenever it does get repainted though, same as it came - Cranberry red with black stripes and a black vinyl top.

Can't wait to be home tomorrow, it may not be pretty on the outside but it sure is one helluva blast to drive.

Very nice collection. I went to Chevy Vett Fest yesterday and was pretty disapointed at the lack of Montes there. There was a very nice 70 for sale and they were asking 15k obo. Unfortunaly they repainted it a non original color and stuck a 71 hood ornamnet on it, othewise it was pretty clean. It also had pretty low mile - and I'm kicking myself for not taking pics. We did grab the guys business card.
