how much does it typically cost to repaint a car...from sanding it down...to fixing a couple dings here n there...color going to be black...maybe thinkin 2 tone with silver...just give me rough estimates of wat you all think n heard from other ppl whos gotten their cars painted

 

These days you are looking at 5-6 grand for a decent quality job depending on the amount of body work that needs done. You may be able to get it done cheaper but the quality would only go down with the price of the job.

 

seriously, if you are changing the car color and want it done properly, they will have to take the car apart so I would say no less than $4000 easily.

black...the new paint job going to be company paid...so price dont really matter to me...i just want to kno wat to expect when im gettin estimates...cause i dont want a cheap job done...

 

For some reason I assumed you were changing the color of the car, you can probably find it to be done a little cheaper since they don't have to be PERFECT on the door sills and around the engine compartments and such, but again a really good quality paint, with depth and a good amount of clear won't come cheap.

 

I would say around 3K if you stick with the same color....maybe a little higher.
