Default New Monte Carlo :D

My dad has found a 1984 Monte Carlo SS a couple hundred kms from where we live and it is only $1200. It has some rust and I think the seats might be bad but other than that, I'd say it's a really good deal. I'm trying to convince my dad to buy it. But I'll post some pics of it later and I'll let you guys know what goes down. Just thought I would let you guys know that I might be adding a Monte to the family

What are the specs of this car? $1,200 for something like that seems about right, considering the condition. But if you're a fixer upper, you could turn it into a goldmine.

Well it has 168000 kms and a 305ci 4BBL with a turbo 350 tranny, but it has no A/C or power windows or locks and it isn't a t-top. But we have a parts car that has the the A/C and everything along with the power windows and locks, so pretty much any way I look at this, my dad and I can make it a very nice car.

That's a lot of miles...you'll need to do lots of engine work, or replace the engine.

Well my dad is going to drive it with the 305 for a little bit, then drop in his drive train from his old Malibu; a 383 stroker
