Default New to me 06 SS

Back in november I traded my 03 SS for an 06 SS, since then its been sitting in the garage with the 86 Aerocoupe out of the elements.
today was the first time ive been home on a saturday since jan. (nascar truck series mechanic) So with nice weather i figured it was time to pull her out and take a few photos.
Still working on the garage exterior, but least it has heat and lights

No mods it all 100% stock, just like the aerocoupe. And i plan on keeping it that way.
Racing is goin ok, got caught up in a crash at daytona, finished 9th i think it was at atlanta. might been 10th. was just extremely busy winter converting from toyota to chevrolet and the weather in nc has been crazy stupid the last month or so

Nice 06! I hope to have the same combination one day, though I'd prefer an 87 Aerocoupe which I'd most likely keep stock as well. These cars look great in their stock form.

lol yes, the 86 doesn't get out often unfortunately. I had an 87 aero before I bought the 86. But I couldn't afford to keep both at the time. The 87 was black, with saddle color interior and gold stripes. My next plan is to find another 87 aero , white hardtop with burgundy interior all stock to go along the 86. Seems the ones I find have bench seat/ column shift. I gotta have buckets tho. Those things ain't getting easier to find or any cheaper however.
I have a thing for white or black cars. When searching for an 06-07 ss I was wanting white, but wasn't anything to be found within 1000 miles lol. Found a black 07, went to buy it cash in hand but seller couldn't get me the title, so I walked away. Then ran across this 06 red one at a chevy dealer, drove down, looked at it and an hour later drove it home.
