Thats funny, its pretty much the same setup I have including the tips. Were they stainless or chrome? If they were chrome I hope you didnt weld them on cause mine are already all rusty. Do you have a resonator delete or is it still in there? I cut mine out and welded in straight pipe but I dont know if it made a sound difference. Your car sounds almost identical to mine so thats why I asked.

 

I got stainless tips and they guy welded them on. I took off the resonator but the drone was really bad, so the guy put mine back on for me. When i took it off he said hold on to it because he'd had people come back to have theirs put back because of drone.

 

Yeah it does have a drone to it when cruising but I got used to it. Thats a good think you got stainless tips.

 

I might have gotten used to the drone in time. I took it off my impala, ran 2.5" pipe to the stock muffler. At highway speeds was some drone but not as much as I had with these magnaflows.
