New build for myself & here is the story.
March 13
I had a customer call me to get his brand new Ford Raptor detailed. So I made the 9 mile trip out to the country to detail this truck. Had to wait for him to arrive at the farm so I sat around and looked at a few vehicles he had laying out in the paster. He had 5 Monte Carlos, two of them were SS models and he had a four door Buick Regal. Didn't think he would sell them since he does dirt track racing. So didn't bug to ask him on selling them or anything.
As of yesterday March 22
Dad and myself were sitting in the garage talking about finding me a project for myself since he has a 68 Chevelle and an 69 Chevelle SS. I told him let me make a few phone calls and I'll see what I can do. So I decided to call up my customer that owned the cars. And when we said he wouldn't sell them I got kinda upset and told him that's fine I'll keep looking. About fifteen minutes went by. And he had texted me back, saying he would sell one of the SS Monte the one that had the title, all windows everything straight body. But he wanted me to find him a cutlass, monte carlo. or something in those lines. Didn't have to have a title or anything because its only going to get used for a parts car. So I told him I'd get back in touch with him in a couple minutes. I made a phone call to one of my friends. Which his grandpa has a Cutlass sitting in the backyard going to waste and I'm picking that one up for dirt cheap. $300 than I have to take the guy $800 for my Monte Carlo first. Which is a hell of a deal with a clean title and everything. Now the car is a little rough but she will do perfect! I'll keep everybody updated once more stuff comes together. Heres some pictures of her.

It's the black car NOT the brown Buick

Well that looks like another Monte rescued from a sure death on the track. You wanted a project with your father, good you both will have each other to help restore this pretty complete Monte SS. I think you stole it... good numbers
I think I stole it also
Saved it just in time, she needs a couple things but nothing I can't replace. Needs to have all the weather stripping to be replaced but that isn't much. Also hit and miss on the interior and a couple other things! It's going to be fun fixing up both of our rides. Just dads planning on getting married soon so his might take a little longer than what mine will. Once pay day comes I feel sorry for my bank account
Yes she does need work but that's what I wanted something to learn off of and get my hands a little dirty on the weekends.

rubber, That's who I bought all the rubber stuff for my 1940 chevy back in 1988 and it still looks good.. Nice company..
