In my eyes, the SS was just a performance "PACKAGE" for the Monte Carlo. The other LTX models were different trim levels that would either have more or less standard equipment features. The trim level with the most standard features is the highest model. Adding the SS package would remove the options that would be standard with the LTZ, but then also allowed you to check the boxes to include whatever else you wanted. I'm glad I have the best of everything in mine. All the LTZ features with the SS package. Wouldn't want it any other way. |
^ That's how I ordered my parent's car, minus the 8-speaker sound system, they kept the 6 because my mom isn't about to crank her music up and my Dad could care less :P

the dash in the 06 isnt as optioned than the 04 for guages,its kinda ugly to me..is the radio same as the 04?
