Default in need of some help

so i spent numerous hours last night searching for the decal in this picture

all i can find is some knock off ones that have flags on each end and use a different font, anyone know where i can get one exactly like this? I've already contacted GM and was told that the sticker is not a genuine GM part so i can't order it directly from them. however i've seen this exact stylin' on numerous cars and all of the "official" pace cars for the actual races had it as well. So, does anyone know where i can get the "Official Pace Car" rocker panel decals?

it may very well be cheaper to take that picture and as many other pictures as possible to a decal shop and have them decal it up like that for you if thats what you want.

I'm with Duane, it'd probably be cheaper too. Check the phone book under signs for someone that does vinyl work and ask them if they could make that.

Are you looking for just the lettering on the skirts or the whole taz/flag getup?
I'm sure the lettering shouldn't be more than $25, I mean I got my stripes designed/cut/installed for $100

i already have everything else on my car, i'm skeptical on going to the phone book to find somebody after the last custom job i ordered "Monte Carlo" for the windshield ended up not working right (though it did make a nice decal in my room...)

if all you want is that checkard flag, i think you can get it on pfyc.com

i don't know the exact name for the decal.... but that little curved thing it's on is called the eyebrow. that might help with your search to know the exact name

all that is is just chevrolet font that it not italicised (sp?). IT's the same font as the 95-99 Monte Carlo and the sale as the Monte Carlo windshiled, just not in italic. I would go to a graphic or window tint place. thats where I got my window banner from.

The checked flag decals can be found on ebay. I've seen them on there.

And if you do a web search, you'll come up with a page full of online decal places who do custom work such as the rocker decals.

Too bad you couldn't locate a part number for the rocker decals cause then you search places like gmpartsdirect for them.
