Need Some Help
Hi there everyone.
I have been asked for some help in tracking down some 1986 Monte Carlo SS pictures for a friend or his fathers day gift. I will give you a little background.
My buddies dad had owned a mint condition 1986 Monte Carlo SS (first one purchased in Sask, CAN I believe he said) and when he started his family while reluctant too he needed to part ways with it in order to purchase a more 'family' orientated vehicle. My buddy wants to create a picture collage of for him for fathers day. He has asked me to help track down some pictures off the internet.
From what he has told me these are the specs I am to look for. Now I understand that finding all may be hard, but as many as I can would help out a great deal.
1986 Monte Carlo SS
White
Small Hood scoop (think it was factory)
Rear molded factory spoiler
Red and Black pinstripes down each side (even over tires)
Sunroof, but the smaller style
And lastly steel rims (I believe factory as well)
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have searched and searched the web and have pulled off a few that are similar.

just go to the Google search, in the Box ask for White 1986 Monte Carlo. Don't get to specific. click enter. once you are there at the top of the Google search page is a tab that says (images). Usually on the left 2nd or 3rd one. Click on that and start looking. I you don't find it there it isn't real common.
I have had it even find Monte Carlo's in this forum too.

Go to montecarloss.com and browse their picture section. They cater specifically to the 83-88 SS models.
A white 86 model isn't hard to find photos of. hell ive got some posted here but mines an aerocoupe so it wouldn't do you any good.
Just a fyi though the hood scoop you mentioned may be tuff to find because they didn't come factory with one. Or a sunroof, you could get T-tops but sunroofs weren't a factory option on the SS. Also an 86 shouldn't have steel wheels unless changed to the 83-85 years.
