is there a way to disable the daytime running lights on a 97 mc ls, if so does it affect the automatic headlights thanks in advance yal

actually in that year i belive you can pull the fuse on it.
they were pretty easy to deal with in that year. so yeah you cna get rid of them just a matter of how LOL

im not sure if they are the same as the sensor for your auto lights or not.

w00t thanks bossman, ill check into that fuse thingy hopefully it is that simple and it wont screw with the light feature i actually like LOL

yeah i like the light auto on feture also. But not to sure if i want to spend the 70.00 for me to get rid of the DLR's and also gain a extra switch as if i dont have enough of thsoe already lol

personally i think DRL's are gay. im almost willing to give up the autoon feature to destroy these stuipd things. so when i have daylight im gonna hunt down that fuse and see whats going on

how do they save my bacon? thought the fridge did that fer me LOL. yeah the whole "haha u cant do what u want" feature gots to go plus i love the look of park lights at dusk and dawn but the DRL keeps that from happening

I can't tell you the times stupid #$%^&* idiot drivers come over the yellow line at me. Or pull out right the H--l infront of me.

SO... I drive with my high beams on during the day. My car(s) have driving lights I hot wired to stay on but the idiots act like they can't see them? So I turn the high beams on drive with them.

They don't like it? Then don't head over the yellow line at me.

I've been hit head on once. It ain't fun.

mickey i found the fuse labled DRL/MDL i removed it and the daytimers stopped workin but the automatic headlights did the same. any ideas on how to bypass 1 without the other?
