Hey guys so there is some rims I'm looking at that are on sale my ? is what is the stock specs of the stock rims for a 2005 Monte Carlo SS supercharged rims and are these specs ok for the car? I will list the specs below. I need new tires so tires ar enot a problem just need to know if there is any differance from stock that would make these rims not right. I searched 2005 monte carlo ss/sc on tirerack.com n found them
OFFSET 4OMM
BACKSPACING 6.10"
BOLT PATTERN 5-115

 

Other set of rims i want specs are
Offset 42 MM
Backspacing 5.94"
bolt pattern 5-115

which sounds better due to offset and backspacing if either plz help asap lol this is going to be my birthdya present to myslef

 

also do i need to order the tire pressure moniters with them because that is an etra 165 that i do not want to spend or do i not nee dthat one my car (05 monte carlo ss supercharged)

 

You should post this in the rims/tires section it might get a little more attention.

As far as the TPMS, you don't absolutely need it, you may get a code without them, i didn't tho

 

You don't need tire pressure monitors because 2005 monte's don't use tire pressure sensors they use wheel speed to monitor tire pressure..

 

thanks guys for all the answers i guess i messed up in sectionsso the rims ive decided i want to go with do not have backspacing or offset specs, is this a big issue the bolt pattern is stil 5-115
